Christmas Cookie Baking Day: Final Part

The Ritz Cracker Cookies didn't turn out as well as I hoped because the melted chocolate kept sticking together. But I got enough good ones to use for something. This is a super easy recipe. Basically you make peanut butter sandwiches using Ritz crackers and peanut butter. Dip the "sandwiches" in melted chocolate and let them harden in the refrigerator. My family has made these cookies for Christmas parties and get-togethers for years and people always love them.

After I was finished with the Ritz Cracker cookies, I finished decorating the Sugar Cookies. I ended up using this frosting recipe from Allrecipes.com. The final result didn't look to much like a Christmas cookie, but I figured since Christmas is about celebrating Jesus' birthday, these would just be "birthday" cookies! They are super yummy and I'm not sure they're going to last long with my husband around. Here is the final list of all the cookies I made today:

Hopefully, I should be stocked up with enough cookies to last through the Christmas season! My kitchen is all cleaned up (yes, I made myself wait to this post until it was completely cleaned) and I'm anxiously looking forward to giving my back a rest. It's been a productive day here! What about you? Did you bake something in your kitchen today? Leave a comment and tell me about it. I'd love to hear. And don't forget about our little secret coming tomorrow!
