You see this material? Yes, it's camouflage. Yes, it's pink. And yes, it's flannel! Soooo, I have two confessions to make:
- I love pink camouflage. (Interestingly, though, I can hardly stand the sight of regular green camouflage - yuck!)
- This material has been sitting in my closet for over a year now.
When I came across it (again) a few days ago, I knew it was high time for me to finally use this material and sew something. The fact that it's flannel seems to narrow down my options as to what I should sew quite a bit. But, I thought that maybe some of you could get your creative juices flowing and give me some ideas. I have a couple ideas, but nothing really brilliant.
So, that's where you come in. I'd love to hear ideas from some of you as to what YOU would sew/make if you had this material on hand. Any thoughts?
Well, if that was my camo flannel, I think I would make myself a nice fuzzy nightgown. Or, if you prefer pajamas you could make those instead! Pink camo is nice, but my favorite camo is the woodsy stuff!

I would probably make a baby sling or wrap. And/or baby diapers/blanket/burp cloths etc. If I wasn't looking to make baby things I would probably use it to make a throw quilt to snuggle under when reading. Ooh, or a line it, and use it for a tote.
ReplyDeleteToo many suggestions? Apparently I'm a fan of pink camo too, I just didn't know it yet :)

Well, camo is not what I like so I would not have it in my stash, but when I get most flanel fabrics, I would just make some pajama pants out of them, or add it to a fun flanel quilt! :) I like those flanel quilts with the raw edges up and frayed, so cute! :)

How about something like this for your camera? I just discovered this tutorial yesterday. It would be camo for another type of shooting. :)
